Cylch Meithrin Cynwyd Sant is a strong learning environment it is well resourced to meet all children’s needs, the room is imaginative and exciting and provides for children to develop their skills through quality play. Our outdoor environment is also imaginative, well-resourced and enables the children to develop their knowledge and understanding of living things and the world around them. We have a well-established routine which works well with the children. We have a range of activities which helps develops the children’s language through consistently asking them to repeat words and through song.

The Cylch is regularly inspected by ESTYN, Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales and were a part of the Mudiad Meithrin.

Cylch Meithrin Cynwyd Sant aims to provide quality Welsh-medium sessional and early years care to boys and girls from the ages of 2 ½ to school nursery age.

Activities: 

We plan and offer purposeful activities for the children to develop all aspects of their holistic development – from language and social development to physical development and problem-solving.

Our service is provided by dedicated and qualified staff with over 25 years’ experience. We pride ourselves on being good role models to each other and the children.

Staff know the children exceptionally well and respect their personal interests, preferences, and requirements. We use very effective strategies while interacting sensitively with children and encouraging them to do their best. We provide a wide range of rich opportunities for children to select their own resources. Staff meet children’s individual needs highly successfully by planning tasks and activities that consider their interests and developmental needs in full.

Hours/Fees:

(during term time only)

Morning: 9am - 12pm

Full day: 9am - 3pm

Afternoon: 1pm - 3pm

Fee: £5 per hour

Funding is available for children from the Term following their third birthday through early education funding per week. We are part of the childcare offer Wales and may be entitled to 20 hours free Term following their third birthday. Please ask manager for further details.
